Truxton scores for Walsh and Mullins
Truxton King opened his jumping account in good style when claiming the MJ Carroll Arro Maiden Hurdle for Willie Mullins.
Ruby Walsh produced his mount to challenge at the second last and he soon led.
The grey kept on well from the last to score by two lengths from Spanish Auriga
There was a stewards enquiry as the winner had come across Spanish Auriga and Honorary Title before the last. The placings remained unaltered.
"He seems to have come on recently and has improved his jumping. He stayed on very well at the finish," said travelling head lad Gary Davies.
"He was a very good horse on the Flat and seems to have transferred that to hurdles well now. He'll probably go for a winners of one."
