Son And Sannie quickened away in some style to run out a cosy winner of the five-furlong handicap at Naas this afternoon.
Dick Brabazon's charge tracked the leaders on the near side before hitting the front a furlong-and-a-half out.
Oisin Orr soon sent his mount clear to settle matters and he put daylight between himself and the field inside the final furlong.
The Es Que Love gelding went on to record a three-and-a-half length victory over Doonard Prince
Son And Sannie had been runner-up behind Strong Johnson on his comeback at the Curragh 11 days ago.
The winning rider said afterwards:- “He had a nice run the first day. I didn’t have much luck and got brought across the middle of the track but he finished off well and Dick said he’d improved since then.
“He travelled everywhere today and when I needed him he quickened up and put the race to bed very quickly.
“He’ll probably get a good hike in the weights for that but hopefully he can win again.”
