Lucid Dreams provided John Ryan with a quick Sligo double, as he ran out a very easy winner of the Lola Montez Beginners Chase.
A three-time hurdles winner and starting off over the larger obstacles today, the Arcadio eight-year-old was sent off the clear favourite at 6/5 (from 11/8).
Settled in second by Liam Quinlan, the bay victor took over at the head of affairs four out and soon stretched clear.
Quinlan could afford to ease his mount right down on the run-in, with 13-lengths the margin of victory.
Also making his debut over fences, Mister Wilson (12/1) filled the runner-up spot under Sean Flanagan for Gavin Cromwell, while Presenting Lad (16/1) was another five-lengths away in third.
"He's a superstar and we've always thought the world of him," Ryan, who took the opener with Hope Des Blins said.
"He's a Grade 1 chaser in the making and he wants three miles.
"He's entered in a Grade 3 at Tipperary on Sunday but he'll hardly go unless it's three runners!"
STEWARDS REPORTS
The Raceday Stewards fined Gavin Cromwell, trainer, E65 for failing to fit the declared hood to Mister Wilson, prior to entering the parade ring.
