Roche & Crowe combine for Limerick double
Trainer Christy Roche and stable jockey Alan Crowe combined to complete a double at Limerick today when Silent Creek comfortably landed the Mullins Electircal Beginners Chase.
Roche, who saddled Clarkey to win a handicap chase an hour earlier, later reported “Silent Creek has had leg trouble but ran well on his reappearance up North the last day. He had plenty of schooling done before he broke down but he's a really honest horse and I've no plan from here.”
The double moved former Champion Amateur Rider Crowe onto the ten winner mark for the season.
