Prairie Angel completed a treble for Joseph O'Brien and a double for Dylan Browne McMonagle, as she justified market confidence in the second divide of the Mary Rogers Memorial Handicap.

A winner over flights at Ballinrobe in August and since third on the level at Roscommon, the Territories chestnut was available at 4/1 in early shows for this mile and a half contest, eventually going off the clear favourite at 10/11.

Never far from the pace, the market leader improved to the front with just over a quarter of a mile to go and found plenty for pressure inside the final furlong, coming home two and a half lengths to the good in the colours of Sean Sweeney and Kieran O'Hare.

Bidding to win the race named in memory of his late wife for a third year in-a-row, Harry Rogers had to settle for second with the well-supported Gotta Catch'em All (14/1 from 25s), while Kool One (9/2) was another three quarters of a length away in third.

"She's learning on the job," Browne McMonagle remarked.

"I rolled good and forward today on her, and kept it simple. I knew she would stay.

"She came forward good when I asked her for pressure and she won well at the line."

Registering his 11th winner since Saturday, O'Brien was earlier on the mark with Baltray Lady and Miss Tapley with Browne McMonagle also aboard the former.
