No More Porter recorded his second win of the season, as he claimed the TRI Equestrian Handicap.

Successful on his handicap debut in June, the Johnny Feane trained three-year-old was beaten by just a neck on his next start.

He was third at Leopardstown on his most recent outing and was sent off a well-supported 9/2 (15/2 early) chance this afternoon.

Never far off the pace under Wayne Lordan, the son of Elzaam was ridden over a furlong out and he edged to the front inside the final 100 yards, keeping on well to prevail by half a length. Comfort Line (11/1), who led over a furlong from home, had to settle for second under Gary Carroll for Mick Mulvany, while Turbulence (15/2) was another half a length back in third. Toshizou was sent off the 4/1 favourite and he finished fourth.

"Johnny was fairly confident beforehand that he would run a big race," Lordan said.

"The pace was a little bit steady so I rode him a bit more forward than he suggested but it worked out and he got to the line well.

"He finds plenty. He's genuine and he wants it which is always a good sign."

STEWARDS REPORTS

S. Foley, rider of Bopedro (FR) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action at the halfway point and was eased thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bopedro (FR), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have coughed, but to be otherwise post race normal.
