Curious Bride won for only the third time in her career when the Eamonn O'Connell trained mare kept on from off the pace to land the concluding Private Suites At Limerick Racecourse Handicap.
Runner-up over course and distance on her penultimate start, the seven-year-old had run well in fourth when dropping back in trip at Ballinrobe last month.
Held up in mid division by Colin Keane, the well backed 9/2 chance was pushed along entering the straight as Killeemore Lad took over in front.
Brought wide by Keane, Curious Bride led over a furlong out, keeping on strongly to win by three-and-a-quarter lengths.
Eamonn O’Connell said: “She stays well but Colin said she doesn’t necessarily need to go that far. She had a going day today and we’ll see what the handicapper does with her.
“We’ll probably keep her to the Flat and find another two-mile race for her. She doesn’t jump great and jumps left a lot.
“She wants really good ground and we can tip away with her for the summer and also go on the all-weather.”
