Pylonthepressure produced a fine front-running performance to claim the concluding bumper at Naas in impressive fashion.
Patrick Mullins took them along in the 2m3f contest on Rich Ricci's gelding and he galloped on strongly in the closing stages to seal victory.
Space Cadet was sent off the 8/11 favourite having won in style at Leopardstown over Christmas but proved no match for Willie Mullins' charge today as he maintained his unbeaten record.
David Mullins was hard at work on the hotpot over two furlongs from home and he couldn't make any impression on the front-runner.
The 11/8 winner went clear over a furlong out and was driven out in the closing stages for an eight-and-a-half length success.
Pylonthepressure was supplementing his bumper success at Thurles in December and had also landed a point-to-point last May.
"He worked well during the week and we decided to let him out and see how good he was," said Mullins afterwards.
"He's very inch a chaser but I'd imagine he'll go to Cheltenham (for the bumper).
"My father trained a lot of them in the pedigree, horses like Rosie O'Grady, and that was an excuse for me buying him."
It was a double on the card for Willie Mullins with Blood Cotil also landing the beginners chase in the Ricci colours.
