There's no getting to Chicas Amigas and Shane Foley

A lovely big daughter of Dragon Pulse, Chicas Amigas beat all the colts on her debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (Plus 10 Race) at Dundalk.
This six runner two-year-old six furlong heat turned out to be a thriller with several still holding chances inside the last.
There was no getting to the always to the fore Chicas Amigas though, and she held on from Invasion Day (slowly into stride and edged left 100 yards out) by three parts of a length. Empire State was half a length back in third then.
"I'm delighted. I've always liked her," said winning Jessica Harrington on the Shane Foley-ridden victor.
Also on the mark with Torcedor over at Ascot, Mrs Harrington further explained: "She was as green as grass. I had to come here as I knew she wanted good ground and I was getting kind of desperate.
"I'd say she'll come on a lot and we'll look for something again over six. I'd say she'll end up going seven.
"It's great for my old friend Dragon Pulse (the sire) as well.
"The syndicate was set up by (Elaine) 'Legs' Lawlor and it's only for women (It's All About The Girls). There are 30 women but only one turned up here. I have two for them and it's the same setup that had Global Glamour in Australia.
"If they could get to Ascot it would be a dream come true. She's a nice filly and will improve."
