Moss Grove continued his good run of form, as he took the New BETDAQTIPS.COM Handicap Chase under Phillip Enright for Robert Tyner and the Dun Drinan Syndicate.
Successful at Ballinrobe last month, the ten-year-old son of Revoque then finished a good second to Tiger Sam over the course on his most recent start.
Sent off a 5/1 chance this afternoon he was settled behind the leaders and came with his challenge between horses from two out.
He made a mistake at the last but soon led, keeping on well on the run-in to score comfortably by three lengths. Misdflight finished second under Andrew Ring for Denis Hogan at 7/1, while Fairy Island who blundered two out, was two and a half lengths back in third under David Mullins for his father Tom at 8/1 (14's this morning and from 9's on-course). Stonehall Jack was sent off the 4/1 favourite and he finished a disappointing seventh under Luke Dempsey for Davy Fitzgerald.
Phillip Enright said afterwards: "David Mullins' horse (Fairy Island) made a bad mistake at the second last and only for that he would have given me a good run for it.
"He's only come to Robert this year and has really turned a corner. Eamonn Fehily had him before and a lot of the credit should go to him."
Looking back at yesterday's Cheltenham win on Heron Heights, Enright added: "It wasn't the Festival but it was nice to come up the hill on a winner at Cheltenham. Fair play to Henry and the owners for keeping me on the horse."
