Paul Moloney won a Tetratema Cup in his time with a licence before, when Montana Grande landed that prestigious Gowran contest back in 2008. The well-known point-to-point handler got his name back up in lights at Tramore today when All The Way Home landed the www.tramore-racecourse.com Handicap Hurdle under Paul Townend.
Having her first-run for Moloney, the grey, unfortunate at this venue in the past, got there narrowly towards the finish to thwart the front-runner, Count Salazar by a neck.
Moloney explained in the aftermath: "That's my first winner since I got my licence back, in March.
"It's my fourth track winner over-all.
"I got this mare off Sinead O'Sullivan when she finished-up.
"We both trained out of Thomas O'Leary's old-yard in Clonakilty.
"We'll see what this one gets now (from the handicapper) but she won a point-to-point and she might go for a mares beginners chase next.
"She was off the bridle a good way out but she's tough." (DM & EM)
