Connor King doubled his score on the night at Tipperary, when in the finale aboard the outsider Colour Blue (11/2 'rag' of the three) he added to his earlier gains on Pullman Brown
Willie McCreery 's Holy Roman Emperor filly Colour Blue, was, along with Canary Row expected to take a minor role behind the Weld and Smullen hot-pot Alkasser (4/11).
When that fellow got there to lead over a furlong out it seemed the outcome was going to go along expected lines.
However anyone thinking that way wasn't bargaining on Colour Blue's determined attitude, which took her to the front close home for a neck win.
"She ran a good race recently in the Lincoln, on worse ground, and has now won at two, three and four," said McCreery.
"There were only two entries for this at ten to ten yesterday morning so we decided to run and try to 'sniper it,' she is very honest and I didn't want her to get into a battle as she battles without getting hit.
"She's a genuine filly and is entered next Wednesday in a Listed race at Leopardstown." (TW & EM)
