Hindu Kush makes all in Saval Beg
The former Ballydoyle inmate Hindu Kush made all under Chris Hayes to record his second Listed success in the featured Seamus & Rosemary McGrath Memorial Saval Beg Stakes. Alandi was sent off the 8/13 favourite to maintain his unbeaten record but could only stay on at one pace as the Dandy Nicholls-trained four-year-old kept on well under pressure to score by a length. Sublimity was just a short-head back in third, and the placings remained unaltered following a stewards enquiry after the first three got close inside the final furlong.
'He got a freebie in front. We sprinted from four furlongs out and he showed a nice turn of foot,' said a delighted Hayes afterwards.
