Hillman and Mr BB both attracted good support in the Broomhill Point Handicap Chase and the pair fought out a terrific finish, with the former just coming out on top.
The pair dominated proceedings on the final circuit of this three mile and a furlong event, with the John Joe Walsh-trained Hillman (7/1 to 5/1) travelling the better from some way out.
However Mr BB, available at 8/1 in the morning and backed from 6/1 into 3/1 favourite on course, responded gamely under pressure and refused to give in.
The pair raced neck and neck in the closing stages, and it took the photo-finish camera to decide that Philip Enright’s mount was a nose in front on the line.
There was an 18 lengths gap back to Too Late To Sell (20/1) in third.
Ben Dalton was very lucky to escape serious injury after an incident in the back straight where his ill-fated mount Prince Of Leisure went wrong and veered left crashing into a concrete wall. The Irish National winning rider walked away from scene.
