Hurry Henry took the McCarthy Insurance Group-sponsored bumper in runaway fashion at Cork.
The son of Blueprint had shown promise in two previous outings over hurdles including when third to Montys Meadow in a 23-runner maiden here last month.
David Roche 's mount was always prominent and stretched clear inside the final quarter mile.
The well-backed 3/1 chance galloped on strongly in the testing ground to beat 6/4 favourite Tully East by all of 16 lengths, with Akito nearly five lengths further back in third.
Winning trainer Henry de Bromhead said, "I'm delighted with that and he seems to be finding himself. He had a really nice run over hurdles the last day but has taken a couple of runs to click into gear.
"Davy (Roche) gave him a super ride and he was tough and loved that ground. I haven't got to the bottom of him at home and I imagine he'll keep to bumpers this season. I'll speak to the lads (the five member Mowog Syndicate, from Dublin) but it might be a bit late to go over hurdles.
"They (Mowog Syndicate) have been brilliant supporters of mine and I'm delighted with this."
