Jockey Barry Geraghty has reflected on his final flight fall from Thomas Edison in Thursday's Galway Hurdle, saying "I don't know if I'd have beaten the winner".
Thomas Edison's fall, when arriving with a strong challenge at the final obstacle, left the way clear for stablemate Quick Jack to win and Geraghty, following his opening race win on Tigris River today, stated "he did have a serious chance but I don't know if I'd have beaten the winner as he won with a lot in hand.
"But the fact my lad tipped-up maybe was a reflection on how well we were really going."
