Darcy doubles up on Cooper's Crest
Jockey Mike Darcy recorded a double at Limerick today, completing the brace on Sabrina Harty's 4/11 hotpot and favourite Cooper's Crest which was the workmanlike winner of the Irish Daily Mirror Hurdle.
Cooper's Crest failed to travel with much zest but did respond well when asked to go and win her race in the straight, eventually winning by two and a half lengths from Tequila Lord
Afterwards Harty stated "Cooper's Crest hated that ground and hit a flat spot coming down the hill (after three out) but Mike (Darcy) said he couldn't pull her up once she had won! She's in the Galway Hurdle but may not get into it."
