My Mate Mozzie won as he pleased at 2/9 in the mile and a-half maiden in Tramore.
The 'jolly' brought up an across-the-card double for Gavin Cromwell who sent Dha Leath over to Pontefract to win at Listed level today.
The 92 rated seven-year-old gelding, who is better known for his exploits over hurdles that include a Grade 3 success in Navan, tracked throughout and tanked past Rock Basher inside the three pole.
He asserted two furlongs out and cruised away from the field to win by an eased down eight and a-half lengths. Humtaza (22/1) got up for second from Barnacullia (7/1).
Jockey Chris Hayes said: "He found it very easy and he enjoyed it. That'll do his confidence the world of good.
"I'm very grateful to Gavin and the owners for giving me the call up. It's been over six years since I've been down here but, when I got offered him. I wasn't going to turn it down.
"He is a smart horse and was entitled to do it. He has run well in good premier handicaps.
"I don't know what the plan is, but he would be a great ride in the mile-and-a-half handicap (the Guinness Handicap) at Galway."
