Byrnes' Domination continues
The Charles Byrnes trained Domination landed a gamble (5/2 in the morning into 11/8f) to win the Boylesports Hurdle at Roscommon this evening, recording a game win over Fuschia Belle
Ridden by Davy Russell, the four year old gelding had narrowly headed Fuschia Belle at the final flight when jumping across the runner-up but it mattered nothing to the result, as the winner galloped to a decisive win.
Afterwards Byrnes said “Domination is obviously improving and that was a step forward for him. He is tough and genuine and stays well – two and a half miles is obviously his trip.”
“He could go back to the Flat now , he is rated 77, and will have plenty of entries at Galway.”
The win was Byrnes' fifth of the new season.
