I'm delighted for (owner) Mona Masterson. She has been very patient. He ain't a bad horse and hopefully can build on this and go in the right direction,. He was a little disappointing before his break but this is a nice foundation to build on. He's a horse that needs a fence and a bit more of a trip. We'll look at the 2m3f handicap chase at Listowel on the Tuesday although the trip is a little bit of a concern. There was a bit of crossed wires between him and Paul (Carberry) at Galway when he tipped up at the second. He was just fresh and well. He stumbled on landing and knuckled over. He didn't deserve to fall. Today it was nice to come back and get a confidence booster.

I thought he was in trouble from the start as he had a lot of ground to make up over a short a trip but Paul [Carberry] gave him an absolute peach. Credit to the jockey and to the horse. I am delighted for the owner Mona Masterson and I would like to thank her for her patience and support. It's great to get back on the winning trail. He'll go back over fences now. We'll keep the Plate in mind for him now.

I'm thrilled with that performance and he wants decent ground. We'll still stick to good staying handicaps for him. He's a lovely horse and he's always shown us plenty at home.

That was the wrong trip for him, he wants three miles or three miles plus but we thought it was a good opportunity for him to get a win under his belt and he loves this ground. Now that we have the foundations, hopefully we can build from it. He's had a bit of trouble in the past. I would like to thank the owner Mona Masterson who is from Fermanagh for being so patient and she deserved nothing less today. I'm absolutely delighted for her.
