It was probably a weak race and he's a nice horse. I was hopeful coming here as both horses were in good order. This horse will come back here again over Christmas. JP (McManus) is great to us and is good to a lot of people, if he ever pulled out, there'd be fellas running for cover!

he was a bit unlucky at Listowel where he was definitely going to be placed in what was a good bit better race and I'm pleased to get the win with him. The ground was different to what we anticipated, but it was grand for him and we'll go handicapping with him now anyway.
