He's a classy horse but thinks about things a little. You can't force him to jump and Tom was ideal on him. Alot of the credit should go to Richard O'Dea who schools him. He was schooled yesterday morning and again this morning and it paid off. I thought this would be an ideal race for him, and Tom said he travelled fierce well. He'll get an entry in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown although I don't know if he's robust enough for that.

He handled that ground well and stayed on well. The owners (The Looney Bishop syndicate) are from Wales.

That was a fierce performance. When I saw the entries I was in two minds about running but Tom Doyle encouraged me to run. There is a novice in Naas early in the new year (the Slaney Hurdle) and he might go for that. I doubt he'll run at Christmas.
