He jumps and gallops. We dropped him back to two miles at Navan the last day and he ran well behind Don Cossack but looking at that performance I wonder why I dropped him back as he really wants further again. He is a massive hose and is a real stayer and one to look forward to over fences. I would imagine he will go for a novice over 2m 4f plus now and I wouldn't be rushing to run him on fast ground.

that was great, we have always liked him and we thought his first run was very good , but he just got a bit tired on the turn-in at Punchestown. We were hoping he would improve but he is a big scopey chaser so we backed off him after his debut and brought him back. I'm delighted he got a great ride from Davey - he is super for his 5lbs claim and any time we fancy one he does the job. The sensible option is to put Sizing Gold out in a field now but we'll see.
