He is a real family horse, runs in Ber's colours and Kate (daughter) rides him out so it is great,. He'll mix away between flat and hurdles and last year he ran two races in Galway so we'll work back from that now. Dylan said he appreciated the step up in distance on that quicker ground although when he won at Galway last year, it was soft enough towards the end of the week so I don't think he is ground-dependent. He is a lovely horse who will continue to pay his way and Dylan is riding brilliantly.

Mark was saying they went very quick early on and, then when they steadied it up, he just got on the bridle a bit and travelled,. He picked up well and quickened away down to the last. He's a nice horse, he's a very consistent horse and never runs a bad race. He had two runs in Galway one day after the other and he ran a cracker both days. He'll be a nice horse there for nice handicaps. He gets two and a half mile and I suppose some of those nice two mile handicaps where they go fast up front, he could be dropped in a bit and come through them. He could be one to sneak in off a low weight in a real good two-mile handicap. I think that is his proper forte. I think ground doesn't bother him. He still has a nice mark on the Flat so there could be something for him before the end of the season on the Flat.

It's brilliant. I fancied him really well yesterday, he finished out his race really well but didn't get there in time. I haven't been home but the lads at home said he was in great nick this morning so we decided to run him and thank-God it paid off. The rain took the real speed out of it and he got to travel really well and Ronan rode him with loads of confidence. It's great, he runs in Ber, my wife's colours, but her brother Andrew (Leigh) owns a good bit of him as well and enjoys it as well. He's a lovely horse and he's very consistent. He'll end up having a nice mark over hurdles and he's a great horse to have fun with. We love it down here. I actually had a runner in the first and it didn't work out so I went into the town, met the lads and had a bit of craic and came back out for the last! It was great, thank-God.
