That was a nice first run of the season, and I’d imagine he’ll go for the National. That would be the usual route from here. We’re keen to go and the owner is keen to go,.

I've just spoken to the vet and he said he's fine, just exhausted. He felt it was safer to take him back to the stables than the razzmatazz of the paddock. They'll just throw lots of water on him. He's taking the odd step, then a wobble. I imagine any athlete after four miles would be a little tired.

He did a nice piece of work this week so we thought he might be in better form than he was in Killarney. We will do more of the same with him and there would be no trouble going up in trip. He was getting lengths at some of his fences. He jumps and stays and I just hope he stays right after all the trouble that he’s had.

He jumped great. He was taken off his feet a bit early on but once he got into his jumping rhythm it all depended on what the ones up front had left,.

He had been working very well and I'd say he's a good horse. He was recommended to us from Ian Ferguson's in the north. It's great to have a winner for this owner. I think it's his first horse with us. We were going to go hurdling with him, but he was working so well we went for a winners' bumper.

He is a fair one. He would have won his point-to-point as he liked but he met the last too fast. I thought Maxine gave him a super ride. He is a horse with lots of gears and he is for sale.
