He did it well, he's improving. He likes this ground and jumped well. He will probably go to Kilbeggan on Friday now. Bryan (Cooper) gave him a good ride, as he needed a lead because he tends to idle in front.

I was a bit suspect about the ground but he handled it,. The day he won his maiden hurdle at Down Royal it rained all day and was soft. I think he's better on good ground but Bryan said he moved well on it today. He travelled well and jumped well. We'll keep him going for the summer.

He wasn't going to be left in front again!. He rode him well but I was surprised he handled that ground as he loves it quicker. The owners are taking him home this evening and he'll come back in the spring. The ground is only going to get heavier and he doesn't handle it. He's also been in training a long time. He'll have a summer campaign over fences. He's an out-and-out chaser.
