After race at Sligo Wed, 23rd Aug, 2023 (1st)  He's very quirky, he wasn't going a yard there the whole way and it was only when he got a bit of daylight he took off. Two out I didn't think I was going to win, but as soon as you pull him out he takes off. He's a hard enough ride. Some days he can be keen, he wasn't today but the last day in Galway he was, he's just hit and miss. He was a bit unlucky in Galway, he didn't get a run at all down the rail and flew home like today, but was unlucky not to have a bit further to run. He's versatile as regards trip, but I'd say the further the better for him. Matthew J Smith

After race at Downpatrick Sat, 17th Jun, 2023 (1st)  He ran well in a bumper here before, but he said he is a tricky horse and he didn't want to go. He just said he was never travelling for him. I thought looking at it that there wasn't much hope for him. A good ride I must say, he got him going anyway - perhaps the ups and downs and turns. He would be on and off the bridle, but has ability. I'm delighted to get that hurdle win for the lads. I thought the trip might have been a little bit sharp for him, but I didn't mind the drop of rain with the trip being a bit sharp. Matthew J Smith
