The secret to this horse is that he's settling so much better now. He used to get very hyper before his races. He got a smashing ride from Andrew but it looked ominous when the favourite came at him. He found plenty though . he's a brave horse. Whenever the owner (Raymond O'Moore) goes on holidays the horse wins. He is from Monasterboice in County Louth and he's a great supporter of the yard. The horse ran at Dundalk recently but the ground was a bit quick for him.

Lucky Spring is settling better now than he used to and he's got a great attitude to racing. Andrew gave him a great ride. Raymond Moore, from Monasterboice, Co Louth who unfortunately wasn't able to come racing as he is in Portugal. The win gets us off the 13 winner mark for the year . we've been stuck on that for nearly a month but it's great to get another winner.

Lucky Spring cracked a bone in a joint and has taken a long time to get back right - he was a fairly decent horse at one stage. The ground was too deep for him at Clonmel the last day and he didn't get home and he is better with a gap between races. Andrew (Thornton) rides very well and deserves more opportunities and, obviously, I'm delighted the meeting went ahead and the lads say it rides well.
