He's been busy and I thought it (a win) might happen for him a few weeks ago. He's due this, he's been knocking on the door and this is reward for his consistency. He was just touched off over a mile here a few weeks ago. He slipped in the ratings but he needed to. We put the blinkers back on him and he likes Leopardstown. I know he's only won here once but he's been placed a few times.

He'd never been beyond a mile before but he finished well over a stiff mile at Naas last time and that trip (1m 2f) gives him a chance to find his feet. He won off 75 last year and he was off 72 today. That's his level.

The run under his belt was a big help. Declan said he's tricky in that he is too keen at home but he is the opposite when he gets to the races. It's worked out well though.

this is the first horse we broke and it´s my second winner. Six furlongs is as far as he stays at the moment but there are plenty of options for him in the Autumn.
