it was a great performance and he jumped great. It wasn't ideal to be that handy but Brian had little option after jumping the first fence and tactically it was a good ride; he was able to slow it down in front and used his jumping to keep bringing him back. Brian has a 100% record on the horse and rides him very well. It's great to have the horse back and he confirmed all his novice form and looks as good as ever. It was a bit of a concern having just a second run here taking on that sort of competition and we'll weight up our options now but it looks like we'll be heading for the Gold Cup.

That was just perfect. It was a great round of jumping and he takes it all in his stride. I'd say he will go for the Fort Leney at Leopardstown at Christmas next.

The race looked plenty competitive and it all goes to educating him and giving him experience,. He should develop into a fair chaser. He's designed to jump fences and might just have one more run over hurdles at Fairyhouse or Punchestown. Brian gave him a great ride and I have great faith in him. He let him stretch when he needed to and ask him at the last two hurdles. I'd imagine he'll come on for this run.

Last Instalment promised to be a nice horse from well back. However, I thought I'd have had him out before Christmas but he didn't have the best of preparations and had a few pitfalls, nothing major, along the way. He should make an exciting chaser and will only have a couple of more runs over hurdles . the Fairyhouse Festival could be a later option for him. He is affective on nice ground and is a beautifully actioned horse.

He is a beautiful horse, a real chaser and he jumps particularly well. He was just as impressive when he won his Point to Point in November. We will put him away now and bring him back next season for a spell over hurdles, but chasing will be his game. Dunguib is in great form, absolutely bouncing. We have two options for Punchestown and are not ruling out the Champion Hurdle on the Friday. It is not as strong a race as you might expect so we will have a close look at it before making a decision.
