The rain was a big help and it slowed up the rest of them. Philip gave him a super ride and was able to dictate from the front. He's due a change of address as I was saying to Michael (O'Driscoll, owner) last week so if he goes up much in the handicap maybe he belongs in England but we'll see - we're not going to give him away or anything! . He has given us great fun and he'd be a terrific ride for the Topham (Chase at Aintree).

He ran a great race at Limerick when Patrick (son) rode him and he said to put blinkers on him next time and it has worked. We thought he was a good thing today but had luck on our side,. The ground was too heavy for him but they all had to go through it and I'm delighted for his owner Micheal O'Driscoll (solicitor), who is working at the High Court today and has been a great supporter of mine over the years.

We always held him in high regard but he will be better on better ground. Credit to his owners who have been very patient with him. He will go for a winners of one now or a novice.

He met a really smart horse the last day at Limerick,. He won a good point-to-point. When the ground gets better he should get better. We'll probably go for a winners bumper now.
