J'y Vole did what the market suggested (as big as 5/2 in the morning into 11/8) when she bolted up in the Grade 2 Red Mills Steeplechase by fifteen lengths under Paul Townend. The French-bred mare was completing a double for Townend and Willie Mullins, who earlier landed the handicap hurdle with Hampshire Express.

We decided to bring her back to 2 ¿ miles today and the soft ground was a help. There is not much coming up for her here in Ireland so we might go to Auteuil in France and run her either a 2 mile 5f Grade 3 Hurdle or bring her chasing.
