It was a case of all the duck in a row as the ground and trip suited and she probably needs a claimer riding her,. She's definitely better on good ground, and it was very heavy in Listowel. She only cost 400 quid, and nearly every day she is in the money.

I thought she'd go close; she ran a cracker the last day and this was a lesser race and Kent's mare (Thanks For Tea, winner of her previous race) ran really well again yesterday, so I thought we had a right chance.

I don't have her that long. I only have her three weeks before he hurdle run. She has improved no end and has put weight on. I said I'd have to have a go at a bumper. I decided to come here as I won this race myself in the past. I thought she was beaten after a mile as they went no gallop and it takes her a while to get through the gears but she just got there in end. She is a real summer mare and she will go back over hurdles now.
