He was replaced by J J Slevin on Valgor Du Ronceray in the Holycross Maiden Hurdle but that one could only manage third behind 8/15 favourite Aussie Reigns, who brought up a Thurles double for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh.

He's grand and consistent. He keeps doing it and he's a bit like Mitchouka yesterday,. He battled better than I thought he would. He was giving everything weight so that was a nice performance. We'll look for something in Fairyhouse. I'd say we'll keep him at home.

He has improved a lot and is settling and doing everything well. We'll try and find something similar again but chasing is what he is bought to be and that'll be his game,. That's 99 for the season - I won't be here if we win the last as I'm flying out to England now but it is a credit to the owners and the staff whenever we get it (100).
