The award for the leading jockey at Dundalk over the winter was shared between Conor Hoban and Joseph O'Brien on 15 winners apiece as Billy Lee brought up a double when keeping the former at bay in the concluding Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Race & Stay Package Handicap. Lee rode the winner, Tooreen Legend (5/2 fav) whilst Hoban was on the runner-up, Gretzky.

Twenty five to one winner Waterloo Sunrise was a significant winner for those involved earlier on and another surprise victor in the last, Gretzky (20/1) won't be one that his trainer and jockey will forget in a hurry as it marked the occasion of their breakthrough success. The handler was Matthew Smith and the man in the plate, Ross O'Sullivan.

as soon as he got off the box he knew he was here - he loves the place! . It was a fair run to win off 87 and he got into a bit of trouble and did well to come through and win. Shalaman (stablemate) has also run a cracker to finish third.

He loves it up here. Conor gave him a great ride and didn't panic. He knows the horse well and knows he likes to come late. I wouldn't mind a few more like Gretzky. After that his options might be limited up here but hopefully we'll bring him back here again. A mile and half is his trip.

I knew he was in good old form coming here. He had been out of form during the summer but he likes it up here and Connor gave him a good ride. He'll come back here again as he wants fast ground.
