It was close! He did it well and he is entered in Thurles on Thursday in the two mile six furlong hurdle that Black Harry is in. He probably won't go there though and is more likely to go to Fairyhouse.

That worked well. We thought Hardy Eustace was going to make it and we were going to take him on about three out but we a grand lead in the end. He picked really well and Philip said that's the best he's felt in a long time. Himself and Spring The Que have really come into their own recently. This was just a stepping stone our aim is for the Thyestes Chase in Gowran Park at the end of January.

I'm going to step him up to 3 miles. I didn't even enter him for The Drinmore Chase. His next run will be in the Grade 1 Ascon/Rohcon 3 mile Novice Chase at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. I was just hoping he'd get it right today.
