I suppose on paper he was supposed to be doing that, but still it was nice to do it. If there is one guarantee, he won't be running in this race next year!. I wouldn't rule it out (a stint over hurdles now), it is worth considering. He certainly doesn't want heavy winter ground. In the Galway Plate he made a mistake and the false start was the biggest thing for him. He had a lovely position the first time if he had got away. He just didn't get a nice position and made a bad mistake (before finishing unplaced). I wouldn't rule the Galway Plate out for next year, it is a difficult race with all the hustle and bustle and he is only a small, little horse. It is not an easy task. Possibly another option for him maybe a Paddy Power in Cheltenham in November.

I thought he could be vulnerable over the 1m4f but Conor was good on him. He'll go to Galway for the Plate. It is a little bit of a step up in trip from what he has been running over, but Galway should suit and he jumps well. It remains to be seen how well handicapped he is, but it is horses for courses and the track should suit him. It is about Galway at the moment, but winnings races on the flat is in the back of our heads.

He has massive scope, they are big fences around here but he just has so much scope. He loves it and is just thriving off it. He was off 140 there today and he's only 102 over hurdles so it's been a massive transformation. When we schooled him at home he jumped great, he's very clever, but he really came alive when we ran him. That's obviously the best race he's run in and Keith said it was the best feel he's given him. I don't know where we go from here, we're probably gone out of the Grand Annual now and we might have to have a look at the Arkle. We'll definitely have to consider it anyway. We went there last year with Gabynako and it's a race that if you jump really well it does bring you into the race and does give you a chance.

The owners (C M D Syndicate) are getting great fun out of this horse and he’s been a revelation since he went chasing. He’s only a small horse, he’s not even 16 hands, but he loves jumping. He’s third reserve for the Paddy Power tomorrow. That was always on our mind and maybe we’ll get there next year. He needs three miles over hurdles and it’s just his jumping that helps him over fences. He has the proven stamina and was strong from the second last. The Dan Moore is going back another furlong but maybe that could be something we might look at for him.

He is absolutely (going the right way). He's just so good to jump, he just keeps gaining lengths,. He's only a small, little horse and he just got away with that ground. He wouldn't want it any softer than that. We are getting up to a high enough mark and he might sneak into the bottom of a nice handicap somewhere. We'll have a look at the calendar and see - if there was something around Leopardstown, you might get nice ground.

I wanted to make use of him as he stays three miles well. I left him bowl away, used his jumping and he jumped well apart from a few little mistakes. They are probably the biggest fences he has jumped but he has loads of scope.

He stuck at it well. He's inclined to hit a bit of a flat spot a couple of furlongs out, he got through that and stuck at it well. Yes (look for something in Listowel) and he can always go back to the Flat as well. It's great to win for a local (CMD) syndicate.

He has been threatening to do that. I thought the way the race was being run that it would suit him. They went a good gallop and he came from off the pace. He showed us enough at home to suggest there was races to be won with him. He will mix it between the flat and jumping now. He is young and he is game. The last day (sixth at Gowran) things just didn't work out and we put a line through that. I wasn't sure about the ground today but he handled it anyway. I'd say he wouldn't want really deep ground being by Camelot, but Simon (Torrens) said he handled it well enough.
