that's a little surprise because I said to Colin that the horse is well but will probably just take blow, as there is a race for him in Galway. He said at the furlong pole he 'exploded' and went for girths, but filled himself up and he said he is just well. He's only won a head, he's an eight-year-old and is a fun horse. He's in the Ahonoora at Galway and might get in off a low weight. He'd carry a penalty in that or we might look at another ordinary handicap in the week where he might be re-assessed.

He did what he was entitled to do on the handicapper's assessment of him at the Curragh,. He came out of that race well. He's just in a good vein of form and he's sweet at the minute. On old form he was well handicapped but I'd say the handicapper will catch up with him now. He's in again at the Curragh on Sunday.

My wife Siobhan owns him, she was mad about him and she saw him in a claimer a few months ago at Dundalk. He ran average there and he wasn't claimed so we bought him off Leanne (Breen) afterwards,. I kinda had in my head that she was buying him to retire him as a pet but we stuck him back into the routine to lead a few two-year-olds and it sweetened him up. He's back in as good of order as ever and he was well handicapped on his old form. The way he was working at home and the way he ran the last day it was nice to see him go and do that.
