I'm delighted with that as I didn't think he would win, I thought Tornedo Shay would. He will go for the Galway Plate next. He has 9-10 and I presume he will get in.

He is a proper horse. He is better going left-handed but he won't get that now. He'll go to Fairyhouse. The better the ground the better he is and he jumped well today and he is improving all the time. We were probably better off making the running with him but in a proper race we'll drop him in. Andrew said that the ground was a bit dead in the straight for him. (EM)

Bostons Angel didn't do much in front but he is still a bit green. He'll go for a winners bumper for the experience. It is great to have four winners, I've had three in a day before, spread between two meetings. (EM)

He quickens up well so I was never worried about where he was during the race. He is from that old Credit Card family so he is bred to get a lot further than the two miles here. He doesn't really like the heavy ground so we'll keep going with him now. (EM)

She got off the mark well here today and I'm thrilled for the owners. Johnny [Harrington] sold them this filly to give them a bit of a luck as they have been unlucky in the past. We will go for another hurdle with her next and maybe run her on the flat she will appreciate the better ground.

He'd be better going left-handed and we'll find a novice for him now. He could go back on the flat too where he has a low rating. His owner, John Hennessy also has a half-share in The Bull Hayes with me.
