She was good and I was very impressed. She is maybe too brave at times, she'll have a cut if you let her and in fairness Eoin gave her a great ride. She was having a good look around over the first few and hopefully will improve a good bit from it which would be great. I think we'd have to look at the Mares' Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham now - I don't see why not. She's not a mud-lark, and if there's ease in it (ground) she's fine. If there's any juice at all, she'll be fine but you wouldn't like to chance her on really quick ground. There's a mares' novice hurdle for her next at Fairyhouse on the second week in February and after that, we'll let Patsy and Sharon (O'Brien, owners) decide on Cheltenham.

She's wicked tough. Eoin said she was battling and battling the whole way and that he didn't think for a minute he was going to get beaten. She was giving him everything. I'm delighted for Patsy (O'Brien, owner) and the whole family. It's grand to win a race like that. She was taken on early and maybe that helped. Eoin was happy to let her roll at that pace. Even a bit further would suit. She'll stay all day. There's a mares' hurdle in Limerick at Christmas and she'd good to jump. She's deadly accurate.

she's good and is just relentless and gallops and gallops. The more people were giving out about the ground today the happier we were - they were finishing drunk all day and we were thrilled watching it as it suited her down to the ground. That's her second bumper now and Patsy (O’Brien, owner) wants her as a broodmare. I'll chat to him now but I'd say if it came up soft we might go to Punchestown. It'll have to be soft as she fractured a knee when she was younger and she gives the ground a good thump, so with her knee you need it forgiving underfoot. We'll see and if that's it for the year, that's it, she has her job done. Whether Patsy will breed or come back for hurdling I don't know. You'd love to have a winter with her as she'd be an exciting one to go hurdling with.

She is a good tough mare and just gallops all day long. She is hard enough to train and huge credit must go to Jim Bergin (physio) who keeps her sound and only for him we wouldn't be able to do what we're doing. If anyone deserves the credit for today, it is Jim. She loves that ground and just gallops and gallops but the bounce factor would be in the back of your mind having been off the track for 800 days before her run at Gowran. We might go for another bumper next with her and that's my first double.
