We were a bit worried about the ground. He had a good run in Fairyhouse but the ground was deplorable that day. Denis got a good feel off him then. It's not ideal conditions for him yet — he's a nice little horse though and he'll probably go to Punchestown. Tom Doran is in Wexford and it's his Mrs' birthday. I can't for the life of me understand why Denis is not being used more too. It's sad to see Paul Carberry being retired but he's the next lad I'd have to Carberry riding for me. Once you leg him up you have no worries. Tom sent me seven and he has nine horses with me there now. Some of them will be nice on better ground. Hopefully we can keep banging in winners for him.

Jack gave him a great ride. He didn't like the ground but it has all worked out great. He looks a stayer, and Paul Roche (won a point-to-point in the Roche colours) recommended us to buy him.

The further he goes the better he'll be. He might go to Galway for a novice hurdle but I wanted to come here to get a bit of experience. He just hadn't enough experience the last day. He'll win plenty of races.

He was a bit disappointing in his bumper at Kilbeggan but I'd say the track didn't suit him there. It's grand for Jack, it's his first winner as a professional. This fella will keep going for the summer,.
