She was top weight and the classiest mare in the race. She needed the line and probably just over-raced a bit on that ground. Apart from the first, she jumped really well. We have done an awful amount of schooling with her and I think the penny has finally dropped. She wouldn’t want the ground any softer than that and is probably one more for the spring. We might look at Leopardstown, as the ground is often better there.

She was very good. I was concerned as I thought the ground was gone for her to be honest,. She was foot perfect, she has had issues with her jumping in the past but she's become very good now. Keith has done a lot of schooling with her and it's unfortunate he can't be on her but Sean does a lot of work with these horses too and it's nice to see him getting a day. At Cheltenham we took her out because of the ground but isn't it great to win here. She's a talented mare. The ground at Cheltenham this year was a bit of an extreme and it wouldn't have worked. I'm glad we didn't run her because we wouldn't be here if we did. It's been a brilliant season. All the horses are running great and that was my 70th jumps winner for the season. It's fantastic, 62 was my best, and that was the target.

She got an awful fright when she fell at Fairyhouse (in October) and it has taken her a long time to get confidence and, in her races since, has been slow to warm up over the opening fences. She came straight into it today and jumped brilliantly. We had given her a pop this morning, when she was very good and Paul Carberry actually schooled her on Saturday and got a good tune out of her. She isn't a winter-ground mare and is a lovely mare going forward for next year. It wouldn't have been the end of the world if she didn't win today as she'd have been a novice for next year, but now the Grade 1 Boylesports Gold Cup at Fairyhouse is a possibility.

It was a great performance. Luke probably got a soft lead and dictated it, he gave her a smashing ride,. She didn't half quicken from the back of the second last, when he sent her, and particularly when she turned in. She winged the last. You would have to love her attitude, she's very game the way she put her head down and galloped.

She was third reserve in the Lartigue (at Listowel) and I was gutted she didn’t get in. Looking at the way she did that today she might have been a player in it. She’s only a four-year-old and whether she’s able for real winter ground I’m not sure, but she’ll certainly handle a bit more ease than there is there today. It was too quick for her the last day.

She did it the hard way, around a tricky track. She was unlucky in Ballinrobe and probably should have won there. She was second again at Galway on her last start. It was good to come back here, getting the mares allowance in four-year-old company. She might go to Ballinrobe now (August 23rd) for a decent pot or she could get in at the bottom of the weights for the Lartigue at Listowel.
