Permission was given for EMPEROR’S SON (IRE) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries and go early to post and for Water Of Leith (IRE) to be led early to post.
The raceday privilege request for Water Of Leith (IRE), trained by Jim Goldie, to go early to post was late being submitted.
Goldie was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
El Bufalo (GB) arrived at the start with a small amount of blood in its mouth, having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon the gelding was deemed fit to race.
Leaving the stalls, Princess Karine (GB), unplaced, and Winter Crown (GB), unplaced, jumped left-handed causing Our Absent Friends (IRE), placed fourth, to be short of room.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
