The better ground really helped him today and he had some nice form to win. It was great for young Tim [Carroll], he seems to be getting it together and I really think he's going places. We've always thought a lot of him and hopefully he keeps going forward. We'll go for a handicap next and the long term plan would be to go over fences. He doesn't like the soft ground at all. Allowances - Horses that have not won a *race allowed 8lb *Including flat races under any National Hunt Rules or Rules of Racing.
Riders - Confined to Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii). Allowances (which are not cumulative, up to and including 28th February) who have not ridden the winner of a **race allowed 4lb Those who have not ridden the winners of 5 **races allowed 2lb These allowances are not cumulative and no allowance to riders under Rule 52 (iii) may be claimed.
