Permission was given for You Don't Own Me (IRE) to be mounted on the chute.
Ryan M Moore, the rider of Rodney Le Roc (GB), was unseated approximately 2 furlongs out after his saddle slipped as a result of interference approaching the first bend.
Stefano Cherchi, the rider of Sparkling Diamond (GB), Andrew Breslin, the rider of Almqvist (GB), and Isobel Francis, the rider of Gifted Dreamer (IRE), were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident approaching the first bend that lead to Moore being unseated.
Moore was unable to be interviewed owing to his injuries.
Being a 7lb claimer, Francis was accompanied in the enquiry by a Jockey Coach.
It was found that the incident was accidental and caused by all riders running keen going into the bend, leading the riders to become tight for room and bump one another, resulting in Moore’s saddle slipping and subsequently becoming unseated.
Following the race, Isobel Francis reported that Gifted Dreamer (IRE), placed sixth, suffered interference early on.
