The winner Roundhay Park (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Catterick on 12 April 2023 where the gelding finished ninth of twelve runners, beaten by 16 lengths.
Nigel Tinkler’s explanation that Roundhay Park (GB) had benefitted from its previous run which came after a five month break, was noted.
