The tongue strap on Hes Our Robin (IRE) came adrift and was refitted prior to the gelding going to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line when the winner Global Tour (IRE), ridden by Max Kendrick, interfered with Hahadi (IRE), placed second, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Global Tour (IRE) as although Hahadi (IRE) was briefly tightened towards the rail, Twiston- Davies had not stopped riding and Global Tour (IRE) was always holding Hahadi (IRE) with the winning margin a neck.
Kendrick was cautioned for careless riding as he had taken insufficient steps to allow his mount to drift left causing slight interference to Hahadi (IRE).
Following the race the Veterinary Officer reported that Boychick (IRE), placed fifth, had lost its left fore shoe.
