An enquiry was held following a report from the Starter that there had been a delay of several minutes before he was able to start Race 4, due to the Doctor not being in position at the start for the off time.
The Clerk of the Course, Starter, Senior Racecourse Medical Officer and Racecourse Medical Officer were interviewed.
Having heard their evidence, a report was forwarded to the head office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
Following the race, Toby Wynne reported that Feel The Pinch (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed.
The representative of Robbie Llewellyn reported that the gelding found the Soft ground too sticky and holding on this occasion.
