That's great. It's my first runner of the new season so may they all continue in the same suit!. I'm very pleased with her. I thought fitness wise she might be a bit short and I'm very happy with her. She really needs fast ground so up here suits her at this time of year. An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards (85 = 10st)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra; for each race won. Any horse rated above 85 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 85 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any three year old rated above 85 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
Riders - : Apprentices who are apprenticed to trainers in Ireland only and who have not lost the right to claim the 5lb allowance under Rule 69 Allowances (up to and including 29th March and which are not cumulative) Apprentices who have not ridden a *winner allowed 7lb Those who have not ridden three *winners allowed 4lb Those who have not ridden twenty *winners allowed 2lb
