Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that the winner, Inevitable Outcome (IRE), bled from the nose.
Luke Morris reported that Luna Wish (GB), placed eighth, was never travelling; George Margarson further reported that the filly was unsuited by the combination of the drop in trip to 6 furlongs from 7½ furlongs and the step up in grade on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post- race examination of Luna Wish (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
